    downtime calculations

    HY,

I have falloving problem, probably complex, cause couldn't find anything similar trought search

    Ill trie to explain

I have 1 object that is used by clients and is accesable mon - friday from 8AM till 20PM and Sat - Sun it is closed.
And 2. object that is open Mon - Fri 10AM till 18PM and Sat - Sun is closed

Lets assume that certain event happens and one of my machine brokes down
So there are loooots of conditions to go trought. Like for example lets take 1.object
broke down before 8AM, within 8AM and 20PM, after 20PM (on Sun or Sat)
got fixed on the same day, after one day after 2, ....

So what I need is some design ideas how to calculate downtime depending on object availability.

    Re: downtime calculations

Seems simple to me, just calculate how much of the downtime period overlaps the avilabiity schedule. But to be more precise, more details are required.

You don't often get a webpage that is that specific, they tend to be mre generic, you need to pick out what you need.

As I said, give us some more detail and we can try to help specifically.
