    Help with Indirect formulas...

First timer here, thanks in advance for your help!

I like to sort data for my fantasy football league. There are tons of variables I like to measure but the programming can get complicated real fast.

Here is a mock-sample of how I might measure a player:

After 16 weeks and 5 positions, this kind of list can get very long!

Here is a mock-sample of how I'd like to meausre each player.

    HERE'S MY QUESTION:
I know the COUNTIF formula that tells me how many times a player's name comes up for rushing for over 100 yards- but how do I make the COUNTIF formula use the name in the cell to the left? It's WAAAAY too cumbersome to enter every player's name.

For instance, I want cell 05 (with it's COUNTIF formula) to use the player's name in cell N5. And then, to automatically do that for all the cells in 06, 07,08, etc...

    Thanks in advance!
