    Conditional Date Search / Count

have searched, but no luck finding my answer.

    Here is my data:
    Column A: Received Date
    Column B: Start Date
Column C: Difference in Days (Lag, the time between the received date and the start date) =A1-B1

    Sample data
    Column A: 04/03/2008
    Column B: 04/21/2008
    Column C: 18

I have 300 row of data.

Here is my issue: I need to find the total number of "lag" days in a certain month. Example: April 2008 had 46 days of lag. While 46 is over 30 days, a month, I have 12 rows of data for April 2008.

    Another issue:
Of the 12 rows of data for April 2008 only seven have lag days. I would like to identify April 2008 had seven items with lag days.

    Thank you for any help,
I will post back with a yes or no if it works.

    EDIT:
I uploaded a sample of my file.
Please note, I am not the author of this document. I was given it today to make many corrections and create charts from. Sheet 1 is the other location I have started working.

Any chance you'll post up a good sample set of data so it's easy for someone to create a solution without having to manually recreate your book?
