LINKING cells with FORMULA that UPDATES cell references within other formulas

Is it possible to link a few cells in a worksheet with a special formula in such a way, that if a cell reference (forming part of a formula within a given cell) is changed in one place, cell references are automatically updated in other cells which contain a similar formula – according to a specific pattern?

Say, cell D12 has a formulas which imports a value form another worksheet (or even spreadsheet) – from the cell address ‘WORKSHEET1’1!C8. Then, cells E19-23 have a formula which imports values from 5 different worksheets with addresses such as:
‘WORKSHEET1’1!F8,
‘WORKSHEET2’1!F8,
‘WORKSHEET3’1!F8,
'WORKSHEET4’1!F8,
‘WORKSHEET5’1!F8.

What I want to do, is create a formula that works in the following way:
when I manually change the reference in D12 from ‘WORKSHEET1’1!C8 to C9, I want to F8 cell reference to change everywhere to F9, as well.
