Excel Macro consolidation

Hi All,

Please find the requirement as below.

The attached sheet has two worksheets.

The "Details" worksheet takes value from the "Consolidation" sheet.

I have below 9 type of stages in the "Consolidation" sheet for 3 users. I need the corresponding sum of planned and Actual hours for each stage for each user.

Project Startup
Project Execution and Control
Functional Test Req Study
Functional Test Planning
Functional Test Design
Functional Test Development
Functional Test Execution
Functional Delivery
General (Non - Project Activity)

Can some one provide me a macro for the same. Let me know if you need more details or any query.

Isn't that just a pivot table? (see attached)

Yes, this could be done in a pivot table. what i was looking for a formula or a macro so that the life would be easy. Everytime the data changes the values tend to change immediately.

Pivot table looks good too. Would be helpfull if we can do something on this.
