Hi All
I once used a Function to Measure the distance of the lefthand side of the active cell to right of the screen.
But now I can find it anywhere.
can anybody remember the function Name?

Was this a worksheet function or a udf, VBA function?
I would think it's a udf based on a calculation involving the objects, ActiveWindow.Visiblerange and activecell.

It was a VBA function. I found it and many other usefully function sjust perusing the VBA Help. Is there a way to list all the VBA functions?
The help in VBE should give you access to the functions in VBA, although I'm not sure you will find what you are describing there.
It's more likely to be a function of the Excel Application object, which you can use the Object browser to look at.

Like you suggested I found it in the VBE Object Browser
42 indicates the distance discussed
But do you know what the others numbers represent?

Sorry, no idea what the relationship is.
ColumnWidth is based on fontsize of the Normal font.
Width is in points
Thanks Andy
Thats it the different arial styles of cad and excel. The same name but different properties.
