CAPITALS letters to lower case?

I just entered a bunch of addresses into a spreadsheet. The problem is that I entered the names, addresses, cities, etc. in capital letters and just found out that only the first letter of each word needs to be capitalized.

I don't want to go back through and re-do everything. Is there an easy way to do this?

Assuming the first starts in A1, in B1 (or C1 or D1, etc.), use:

=PROPER(A1)

Then copy down.

Now, you can select the column with the formula, Copy, Edit > Paste Special > Values.
