    Commission calculation

Hi all, hope you can help.
I am creating an commission datasheet for my sales team to calculate commission. However the formula is beyond my abilities.
We have two figures. Total sales (A) and % of commission against sales (B). The way it is calculated is as follows.
    If A is 1 To 9.99 Commission 1.2% on A
    If A is 10 To 19.99 Commission 1.3% on A
    If A is 20 To 29.99 Commission 1.4% on A
    If A is 30 To 39.99 Commission 1.5% on A
    If A is 40 To 49.99 Commission 1.6% on A
    If A is 50 To 59.99 Commission 1.7% on A
    If A is 60 To 79.99Commission 1.8% on A
    If A is 80 To 99.99 Commission 1.9% on A
    If A is 100 To 149.99 Commission 1.95% on A
    If A is >150 Commission 2% on A

It will calculate up to 500 rows

How can i Calculate. SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE...

    Re: Commission calculation

If we assume the commission is not tiered - the simplest thing to do is create a table like so:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
If assume above is located in Columns E:F then

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    where A1 holds Sales

    revise ranges as necessary.

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. You'll find people are disinclined to respond to cross-posts because they may be wasting their time solving a problem that has been solved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser)to the cross-post. Expect cross-posts without a link to be closed a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us help you!

Given responses elsewhere - thread closed to prevent members wasting their time.
