Queries on paste link

Hi all

I have a question to ask on the function of paste link. There is 2 worksheet with data in it. I copy data cell by cell from worksheet A and paste link to worksheet B but when i do a filter to the data in worksheet B, the link that is reference to worksheet A is no more valid. some are linked and some are not linked. Could anyone advice me? Any other method that i can use ? Thank you very much.

I am not sure why filtering the data in worksheet B would invalidate the links. Can you attach an example?

If the data on worksheet B does not need to be linked to the data on A you could get around this problem by using 'paste special' to only paste the values on worksheet B so you don't get any errors with the linked data.
