Return column of data by selecting index value from drop down list

    Hi,

I'm not terribly experienced with Excel so I apologize if this has an obvious answer.

I'm trying to return an entire column of data on Sheet1 by using a drop down menu that displays the first value in each column from Sheet2. For example, by selecting 'Sheet1'!A1 in the drop down menu, all the corresponding data in Column A of Sheet 1 is displayed. I'm familiar with building lists using the Data Validation tool but I no idea how to use the values displayed in the list as a way to return the array of data in the associated column.

I've attached a basic framework of the file to better demonstrate what I am trying to accomplish.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you do not mind, to make your future "excel" life easier, when building your database, think of storing your records in rows, with the first row showing headers ... exactly like the format you picked for the final display ...
    Cheers
