    Circular reference work around?

In the enclosed spreadsheet I have two columns with running totals that reset once they reach certain thresholds. The problem I have is that each column needs to reset if one reaches the threshold before the other (columns Q and R), creating a circular reference.

I might be going about this wrong but here is what I'd like to accomplish in a nutshell:

I'd like to automatically fill trucks based on the sum of my current demand (column O).

A full tractor trailer can carry a max of 42 thousand pounds or hold 30 pallets. Column Q counts product weight while column R counts pallets. Currently, column R checks to see if column Q has reset (or started to build a new truck) and if so, will reset as well even though the pallet cap has not been met. Because of that, I can't have column Q looking at column R or the circular reference triggers.

A good example of why this is an issue is highlighted in Cells Q154:R157.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Not entirely certain I understand it all, but I think this works in extremely limited testing (i.e., the yellow cells only).
