    Linking sheets

I am sorry if this has already been posted somewhere else but I cannot find it if it has! Way back when excel was relatively simple I was able to link worksheets (not sure if that is the correct terminology but what I used to be able to do is on my main sheet I could enter data (database type stuff) and then if a certain entry was made (for argument sake a county) then it would take that information entered and also enter it to a different sheet) is that still possible, am I really going mad

    Hello Balliol,

    welcome to the forum.

You sound like you're very frustrated. I know the feeling. But I'm sure we can work this out with the help of the forum members.

We need to know what you want to achieve. Why don't you prepare a simplified example of your spreadsheet. Make sure to include all data entry fields and then mock up the expected results manually. Then post the workbook here and explain the logic that leads to your expected results in plain language. I'm confident that one of our members will be able to help you solve the issue.

Click "Go Advanced" and then the paper clip icon to attach a file.
