All information is on attached sheet.

I want a Macro to update dates inside formulas to change to specified dates.

I don't think you necessarily need a macro for this. If you change your column headers to be dates, and reformat them to just show the Month and the Date ("mmmmm-yyyy") - then you can use those to dynamically change your search values.

Also - I made a few adjustments to your formula. If you say between 3/1/10 and 3/30/10 - then you have to be prepared to adjust that for every month, especially if the month has 31 days. You could either just make it up to the 31st of each month (since no month will have more than 31 days), or you can make it reference the next month and just say that it is before the 1st of the next month.

Remember - the more dynamic you make it, the less changes you'll have to make later. For instance, the year can also be made to reference the Month cell.

I've attached an example with my proposed solution.

I also noticed that in your list of transactions - several of the descriptions have a sneaky space character at the very end. You need to keep in mind that SUMIF will only work if it matches exactly. You'll need to remove the spaces if you intend on using the same search terms.

    Hope this helps!

In short - you don't need a macro, just formulas that are a little more dynamic.
