When you say report I'm not too sure what you need but I think if you wanted to identify the most recent date then you could use the MAX formula. So assuming the date is in column A the formula =MAX(A:A) would give you the most recent date.

Max will kick out 12/31/10. That is not the most current date data available.
In Excel, real dates are serial numbers, thus the MAX function will always find the latest date. Seems you have populated the table with dates for which no data yet exist.Max will kick out 12/31/10. That is not the most current date data available
