How to work on Vlookup with Dates as criteria?

I created a simplier and easier sample so not to confuse myself and the one who's helping me. Sorry if I created a new thread for this... I just don't want the contibutor to read the older thread since it's too long and they might get confused and tired of reading all the way down.

I just need to return a certain data to the cells higlighted in yellow, based on the criteria on B6 and C6.

The explanation is on the attached workbook.

Actually you are making it much more complicated by providing only half of your final goals.
I have a solution that gives you what you asked but which is probably only half of what you want. It might have been helpful if you would have given some more details about the total layout. Now I made a very general solution as I don't know if you could have more or less than two books in every month.
I also took care of entering manually an arbitrary date, as I already did in my example for your previous question. I don't like people who use formulas rather carelessly.

Anyhow, let me know if this is of any help. If you don't understand the formulas, for which you are not to be blamed, and like to understand these, just ask me what is still a puzzle.
