Populating a field based on a pair of cells.

I don't have excel with me at home, so I'll provide a google link, hope that's kosher.

Basically, I have column "a" with repeating numbers, so a2-a5 will all have "1" in it. I want column "b" to be filled from b2-b5 by looking up a pair of cells. I'll have d2 and e2 paired up.

So, if any number in "a#" matches "d2" fill "b#" with "e2".
If any number in "a#" matches "d3" fill "b#" with "e3".
    And so on.

So I would want the red values populated automatically.

    Hi,

This can be done using a VLOOKUP function which is built within excel.
