    weird (auto numbering) numbering ....

    Hi,
i'm having hard time to do autonumbering on excel. The numbering system is kind of weird but here it is:

    row 1: ABC 1.0-1.5
    row 2: ABC 1.5-2.0
    row 3: ABC 2.0-2.5
    row 4: ABC 2.5-3.0
    row X: .................... so on.

I dug internet last few days but no success.

    Please help me.

    Thank you.

    Hi freestone,

Try this in A1 and pull down

I had to remember the formula for a line as y=mx + b to do this one. Why do I feel like a geek now?

    Hope this helps.
