Having trouble designing a flat file in excel. I am attempting to store computer issues that we have in a log..I am trying to eliminate the need to keep typing the same computer's service tag number, computer name, and department name, if that particular machine has previously had an issue. In addition, for each computer, if it has had multiple issues, all i would like for the file to do, is allow me to easily add to the record, the second issue.. Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.
