Formula to Calculate total number of formulas in a workbook

Does anyone know of a formula that returns the total number calculations in the entire workbook, or at the minimum, the active sheet?

I'm not sure of a one formula to do that but you can search the activesheet or all sheets for a count on the number of "=" signs within the cell's contents.
