How to extract the word RARE from each items as once

I have over 18,000 stamp items on the column A spreadsheet. Need help to save time. Below, how to extract the word RARE to the B column as once? I would like to use the same formula to extract other words like "used", "unused" and "mint".

    Your help is much appreciate.

#1 RARE MINT OG HR STAMP - 2002 PFC
#1 Used RARE PRE-PRINTING PAPER FOLD ERROR
    #10 Unused F-VF & VERY RARE STAMP

Re: How to extract the word RARE from each items as once

    =ISNUMBER(FIND("RARE",UPPER(I1)))

Will tell you if the value in I1 contains the word RARE

you can use this with IF if you need a value other than true or false

I am assuming that you want further columns, containing true or false to indicate whether its MINT,RARE etc!
just replace RARE with whatever you want to test for, note it MUST be in CAPITALS to work!
