Unhappy need to separate values from one column to two columns, is that possible?

    hiii

    how is every1?

im sorry for my bad title, but i cant describe my issue there...

    here is my problem

    1st its a big a clinic..

i have an excel sheet with almost 5000 entries..

with many columns named as usual..

one column is called MEDICINE, which goes under it the prices of medicine in the pharmacy..

this column has the data like this : 27.65
    24.70
    91.45
but the problem isnt here, its in some cells, that contains more than one value and it has the total appearing e.g: =450+27.65
    =140+60.95
=600+85.70 of course bcz i made an = at beginning so it will show me the total..

what i need is HOW TO SEPARATE those values in different columns?

    please help me..!

    thnx alot in advance..

Save a copy of the file first

Then get rid of the = signs in the colum:.

Select the column and then hit CTRL+H (or Edit|Replace) and then enter an = sign in the Find What field. Leave the other field blank. Click Replace All.

Now, insert as many columns after this column that you will need to get all the separated numbers in their own columns.

Reselect the column and go to Data|Text to Columns and select Delimited from first window, click Next, then choose Space and Other checkboxes. In the box next to Other, enter an +. Then click Finish. If you get a message about overwriting columns, then you didn't add enough columns to separate the data and you might overwrite other info. Click Cancel and add more columns, then repeat the above.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
