    cross reference data tables

i have 3 tables of data each with about 30 items (to do with commodity trading)

table 1 consists of the name of the commodity (US dollar, gold, soybeans)

    table 1 runs from say cell A1 to A30 table 2 from B1 to B30 and table 3 from C1 to C30

if I select say Gold (say cell A12) then I need the value of cell B12 and C12 to appear in two other separate cells...similarly if I select A22 then I need the values of B22 and C22

    Any help much appreciated

    cheers

    Hey alex.

Search the net for the Excel VLookup Function. I believe it is exactly what you need.

Since this is the programming forum, did you need this to occur in VBA for some reason?
