    Find Previous trouble!

    I use excel 2010, I make a function for find previous from curent row, but i get error I can't undestand.

    Any can help apreciate.

    Results for function is not imported.... error is ... I can't undestand where is the problem!

    I looked at your spreadsheet and it looks like you are using a simple IF formula. I believe you are just wanting the formula to look in column A and if column A is blank, than leave column C blank, otherwise pull the info from column A into column C, correct?

    If that is the case, then take the word TEST out of your formula. As far as I am aware, there is not a function in Excel called TEST. There is a TEXT function, but I don't believe it applies here.

    The OP made a UDF (User Defined Function) called Test(). It's in a VBA module.

    FindNext and FindPrevious don't work reliably in user-defined functions. Repeat the Find; you can skip the persistent arguments in the loop (LookAt, SearchOrder, SearchDirection)

    To the first Find you should add MatchCase, MatchByte, and SearchFormat.
