display 4871 instead of 0 in e2 ...

Dear Friends,
In my table in cell e2 I am getting 4871 instead of 0 as a result when cell d2 is blank. To find a person simply type his name in cell d2 and get a result. cell e2 shows how many persons are have a same surname.
Secondly, in date columns in search table I'm getting a wrong result when there is no person selected in cell d2. In short when cell d2 is blank the 3 dates should be blank.
Please find the mistake and give me a solution.
