Filter formatted cells via a formula

I'd like to know if a cell has white text or not so that I can then filter it out. Ideally I'd like to know if any cell along a row has white text.

Is this possible via a formula?

If a cell did have white font, would it have that font color for a reason (e.g. Conditional Format) or would someone have manually set the font to white just to hide the values?

If it's due to Conditional Format, it would probably be simple to just test for that condition in each row. For example, if you have C.F. applied to column D so that any value in column D over 100 is changed to white font, then in another cell just test for the value in column D. If your data is in columns A:F, use this in column G:

    =IF(D1>100,"yes","")

Filter your data by column G and you would hide all those rows in which the condition was met. Hope that helps!

The table has 166 columns so this would be a very long formula.

I presume there is no fomula to check if multiple cells along a row have a certain font colour or could I bulk check for the condition?

There is no built-in formula that will tell you if a cell font color is white. You can use a custom function (via code) to determine this.

But, if you perhaps explain what exactly you're trying to do and provide a sample workbook, we can likely help out with a solution using standard functionality for you.
