    Checkbox Lookup

    Hey all, I'm new to this forum! I'm having a bit of trouble with an excel workbook that I'm making. I have the following function:

    {
    =IF('Unit Data'!$A$2:$A$8,IF('Unit overview'!D12='Unit Data'!$B$2:$B$8,'Unit Data'!C2:C8,""),"")
    }

    As an array function. Unit Data worksheet has a list of 8 HVAC units with a check box in the first column, location in the second and serial number in the third. When I have multiple serial numbers for one location I want to check the box for the unit that is currently installed (to keep a record of old units) The function should pull the current unit serial number into the main sheet based on the location listed in D12 of the overview worksheet. It only works if I check the first unit in the list on the Unit Data worksheet... Any thoughts?

    Hi jsuiker and welcome to the forum,

    This is one of those questions where we need a sample to look at to see what you mean.

    You can attach a sample file by clicking on the Go Advanced below the message area and then on the Paper Clip Icon above the advanced message area.

    If you want a good answer you should supply a sample file.
