Is there a smarter way than "IF" function to do this?

    Hello, everyone!

I'm in desperate need for help.

I use Excel to keep record of my sales.
    • I have a list of items in sheet "ITEMS": name and purchase price.

I would like it if I type the name of item in "SOLD" sheet, and Excel automatically enters the purchase price. Normally, I would use the "IF" function, but it would be extremely large, because I have 100+ items. The formula in the purchase price cell of "SOLD" sheet would look like this:

There has to be a smarter way to do this, right? I'm not experienced enough to solve this, and I would be very grateful to anyone who comes with a solution.

    Thanks in advance.
