Question on Sorting with 2 different criteria

I have a file I am trying to sort, but I need it to sort according to two different criteria. On is based on a word in the description row and the other is based on the address in the ownership row. the two match up with the same number.

Basically I want to sort based on a word (ex. T1S R2E) in the description row, but pull the address in the matching ownership row (which is the row above it)... The two beginning numbers match.

I have attached an example of what I mean.

    Hi duwj

it is better to upload an excle file is the problem is not solved. copy paste the column C formula on whole the range

however, find the attatch file for your required formula.

Noticed the comma delimited fields and wondered if you are bringing this in from a data source?
And, is this a once a month thing or daily thing?

About 1 day of code for a custom function could read each row and create a new workbook with the data sliced and diced into the format you want. But, if this is a once in a while activity, it might not be worth the programming effort.
