    Snap shot of cell entries

A1 is constantly variable with data being received automatically from an online source.

I would like in B2 to record the value of A1 at a specified instant in time without having any effect upon the continual variation of entries in A1.

Effectively, in laymans terms, I would like to be able to record "A1 @ 21:10:30 =".

The value of B2 would then remain fixed until either cancelled or the 'snap shot' macro/VBA re-run.

You could use the OnTime method to schedule a sub to run at selected times that copies A1 to someplace else.

Then in a standard module (right click near ThisWorkbook>Insert>Module) and paste this in

Now the value in Sheet1 B1 will be updated with the value of Sheet 2 A1 every 15 minutes.
