Using the default picture name

When you paste a picture into an excel spreadsheet, Excel gives it a name (ex. Picture 19), which is displayed in the name box in the upper left side of the sheet. Is there a way to program a function to see that name and use it?. For example, could you write command that would find that name, copy the picture, by name, to another location and then delete the picture, by name, after the sheet is printed out?
