Auto-populate cells based on data from another sheet

I have a bunch of data in one sheet (we'll call it 'RawData') and need to auto-populate Column A in Sheet2 based on Column G in RawData.

Column G in RawData has a list of applications (with some repeats).

Column A in Sheet2 is blank, but I want it to list all of the applications in Column G in RawData in alphabetical order, with no repeats (I want to count the occurances by date, but I have that figured out already). I want Column A in Sheet2 to automatically update and add applications if applications are added in Column G in RawData.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks!

    Hi tmartin1313,

Have you tried this by using simple Advance Filter option, You can use advance filter with list range to column G in Raw Data and paste to range as A1 in Sheet2, also check the unique record checkbox so it will give you the unique records.

Since your using 2007, you can also just copy/paste Column A, go up to the Data Ribbon, and select "Remove Duplicates"

I've tried the advanced filtering, but it doesn't update automatically. I basically want to just leave the "Application Break-Down" sheet alone and update on its own. Here's a basic speadsheet of what I'm working on with instructions in the comments.
