SUMIFS with specific text as criteria

    Hello All,

I am using a SUMIFS function and need to add a criteria to determine if specific text is contained within the criteria range.

    Good evening Bjordion

Have you tried using the standard "*" wildcard?
Something like =SUMIFS(A1:A10,B1:B10,"Excel*") would pick up Excel, Excellent, Excellence etc.

Ocham's Razor is proved true yet again. Had completely forgotten about the wildcard.

    Thank you!
