Import data from formula field to unrelated non-formula field

I have used the PROPER function to correct capitalization in an spreadsheet that was downloaded from an old database. Now I want to export the corrected Excel data to the new database. What do I need to do so that the data exports and not the function?

select all cells
Copy > Paste Special > Values
will remove all formulas
