Question Fill a Row based on Drop-Down list selection

    Okeys,

I have a bunch of sheets (assume innumerable), and I have their names in a drop-down list on an index sheet. From there I want to select a sheet name and have it fill out the rest of the row automatically (with values from cells scattered throughout the sheet). Not quite sure where to go from there

    Anywho, thanks in advance!

Hello stamke, Welcome to the forum.

You can use INDIRECT formula. it would e helpful, if you attach a sample file with desired results. Forum Rule says how to attach a file.

Re: Fill a Row based on Drop-Down list selection

okay, so what i want is that when i select something from the drop-down, it autofills the row with the data (String Return gives the string apple, banana, or carrot; the other columns give back the number values from top-left to bottom-right of Sheets 1, 2, and 3.
    Anywho, thanks again for helping

EDIT: The "something" in the drop-down list is the sheet name. Just covering any bases.
