    text format for general format

    In the previous post, I made a mistake.

    I need to know, how to format text (70:30) become 2.9375

    Note that C15 is the format text.
    I need to turn this time (C15), in decimal, then D15 = 2.9375

    I believe this should do it.
    =(MID(C15,1,LEN(C15)-3))/24+(RIGHT(C15,2)/1440)
    Format the cell as general after.
