    Exclamation Conditional Formatting Icons

I am creating a large matrix (Excel 2010) and would like to use the Quarters Icon sets, but I do not want black/white icons. I would like to use red, yellow, and green, to display the level of expertise by employee. I read that I can import the icon or is there another method to change the Quarter to a color icon?

    Re: Conditional Formatting Icons

I am looking for the "Quarter" conditional formatting icons. Black & White icon sets are in the Excel program, but I am looking to either change the icon to color (red, yellow, green) or import the color icon set.

    Re: Conditional Formatting Icons

You can't add your own icons you can only use icons from other sets in the default sets or change the order of the icons.

    Re: Conditional Formatting Icons

I was told that for Excel 2007, but I heard that it was possible to import, or change, with Excel 2010.

'fraid not, at least as far as I know. You can use icons from different sets together but not bring in your own. If you can, microsoft don't seem to mention it anywhere and that would surprise me.

There is not option to use custom icons as part of the CF.
