Smile Percentrank - data in several non-consequitive columns (same row but different columns)

    Hi,

A quite simple problem but causing loads of headache since I am not a very experienced user.

I am trying to use the PERCENTRANK function and I have the data I wish to rank against in the same row but different columns...C E G L etc....The problem is to get this info into the formula instead of a straight forward array....is it possible to name certain cells instead of an array.

    Much appreciated !!

You can use a "union" in place of an "array" in PERCENTRANK function, e.g. like this

    =PERCENTRANK((C2,E2,G2,L2),99)
    Audere est facere
