How to lock worksheet based on the current date

    Hi Everyone,

I have developed a simple one page worksheet that I am looking to market and I am trying to find the best way to protect it from being copied and distributed by others. For now what I am thinking of doing is just locking the worksheet once a particular date has been reached. From what I have read so far it appears that VBA code will do it but I am not that familiar with writing the code. Currently my working sheet is unprotected at the moment but during normal running it is protected with only input cells being unlocked. I would appeciate any help in this matter. Thanks

    Dan

you could do something like this, but if the user does not enable Macro's then it will be defeated.

For real protection you will need to use a 3rd party program to secure you application.

    DataSafeXL

    SpreadSheet Sentry
    Palmetto

    Do you know . . . ?
