Need help with VLOOKUP function in excel 2003 and data validation

I'll start with the data validation question as that seems the easiest to solve. I have 5 buttons which each have a Macro assigned to them to change the contents of a drop down list below created in the data validation option. However, lets say i create the macro to, when a certain button is selected, change the contents of cell A1, no matter which cell i have highlighted, the options which appear in cell A1, also appear in whatever cell i have selected at the time also as a drop down list. How do i make it so the only cell which changes is to one i made change in the macros i made?

My second question is this: I have the drop down menu (the one mentioned above) in cell C13. I want it to when I select an option in this menu (they are 57 total options accross all 5 button combonations) a set of numbers appear in cell C15. So for example from the drop down menu I pick the option "1", "A" appears in C15, and if i select the option "2", "B" appears in C15 and so on so forth. How do i make it so this happens? The data which will be used will also be in another worksheet. So there are 57 total options throughout the 5 buttons; in Sheet 2, i have 5 vertical rows with each buttons options in them, and in the rows next to them, I have what i what to appear in cell C15 when one of the 57 options is selected.
