Sumif

Hi,
I'm facing a bit of a problem with this formula SUMIF as I need to sum only numberr from a colum "equal or more than 5.000 and less than 10.000" for wich I've introduced the following formula: =SUMIF(E6:E49;"=>50000*<10000";E6:E49) but this formula gives me a 0 result. Can you help out??

Try this.

=SUMPRODUCT((E6:E149>=5000)*(E6:E49<=10000)*(E6:E49))

You've got two conditions. With Excel 2007 you should be using SUMIFS() not SUMIF()

=SUMIFS(E6:E49;E6:E49;">=5000";E6:E49;"<10000")

I think, you get an error message of my formula, because it's wrong(red letter)

=SUMPRODUCT((E6:E149>=5000)*(E6:E49<=10000)*(E6:E49))

Try

=SUMPRODUCT(($E$6:$E$49>=5000)*($E$6:$E$49<=10000)*($E$6:$E$49))

Very sorry but only left a meeting now.

Unfortunetly I don't know how to attach a file in to this?? and there is no button with a paper clip in here so I can send the file.

There is any other way to do it??
