Asking formula in IF and bringing back same formula as one of results

Hey,

A regular problem I have when writing huge formulas is that I want to add an IF to the entire formula, and if true, bring back a result, and if false, bring back the result of the IF criteria. The problem with this is the criteria in question could be 20 lines long, which then means I need to double my formula size to 40 lines. Is there anyway to do this...hope this makes sense???

=if(<massive formula>="Yes", "OK",<massive formula>)
