    Formula's disappear after emailing

I can't figure out what the cause of this is but I'll provide the details cause I'm stumped. I have an xlsx document with multiple sheets all containing formulas and no matter what format I save it as the person I'm sending it to receives it but all fictions are lost. I use office 2010 he uses 2007 not sure if there's some sort of compatibility issue or what.

    Thanks for your help

The first thing I'd check is if any of your formulas refer to other workbooks. If so, the user may not have access to those file locations. If he/she has disabled update of external data, then all external data will be static.
