Hello all,
I'm looking to update an old conditional format: =ISNA(MATCH(A9,$AW$10:$AW$150,0))
with a wildcard. The manner in which the old CF worked was to change the font color of the data to show red when the value didn't exactly match what was being typed in. We'd like to make this a little more flexible so that if there's a space at the end of the data, for example, the CF won't count the data as incorrect.
I recently read that CF with a wildcard isn't impossible but I've come to the conclusion that it's beyond me since my knowledge of CF's and formula language is very limited. I tried using another wildcard verbiage that worked is another case: "*"&AW10:AW150&"*"
but to no avail.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
