Need help evaluating a cell and returning a different result depending on the findings

I have 2 formula's that work well independantly but I don't know how to join them so that you can look at the first number in one cell and return a different value depending on what that first number is. I am obviously new to this and was lucky to make the two work independantly. Can someone help? Here are the two that work fine independantly:

    =IF(LEFT(A1,1)="7",8250&RIGHT(A1,4)," ")

    =IF(LEFT(A1,1)="2",833&(A1)," ")

The end result should be that if cell A1 has the number 73521 then I want this new field to show 82503521 but if cell A1 has the number 23012, I want this field to show 83323012.

    Thank you

I Love you all. I thought I had done this but I must have missed a parenthesis or a comma or something. I cut and pasted yours and it works perfectly. Thank you, Thank you. This will save a ton of time.

    @ Cardamone

Based on your last post it seems that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED. I'll do that for you now but please keep in mind for your future threads that Rule #9 requires you to do that yourself. If your problem has not been solved you can use Thread Tools (located above your first post) and choose "Mark this thread as unsolved".
    Thanks.
