    Count if column heading is

    Please can someone help...

I have a spreadsheet that has the following column headers
    Start time
    Finish time
    Hours worked

    Example data:
    Start time - 08:00
    Finish time - 16:00
    Hours worked - 08:00

If they do not work a day the hours worked is 00:00 or if it's at the end of the pattern it is blank

This goes on for a full shift pattern of several weeks, some people have longer patterns than others.

I need to work out how many days the person works. There are loads of records so I don't want to have to manually count them.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are days determined by working 8 hours, or by the row, regardless of hours worked? Take a look at the sumif function. You could also consider using a pivot table.

A day is just if they worked any number of hours on that day, so hours worked could be as low as 03:00
