    Condional formating cells

I want to conditonal format the cells in the moving violations tabe to turn a color if they match the list on sheet one.

(Yes i know that not all the names on the moving violation sheet are spell correctly and not all the namesare on the sheet one. This is going to help me sort out terminated workers and spelling mistakes)

    Re: Condional formating cells

First, Name your list of names in Column A on Sheet3. I called them Names
If you don't know how to do this. Simplest way is to select them and go to the name box (upper left where there's usually a cell name. There will be A1) and type in Names. Then Enter
Next, select your range on Sheet2, (i.e A2:H349) and go to conditional formatting, use a formula.
Enter =ISNUMBER(MATCH($A2,Names,0)) and select a format
    That should do it.
    Did it work for you?
