sales projection for a month based on several days of data

Hello,

I am looking to create a projection for a month based off of 11 days of sales data. What is the best way to approach this?

For example: I have two columns, one for the date and the other showing the daily sales total for that date.

Is the solution as simple as taking the total for the 11 days and dividing by 11, then multiplying that total by 30 (or 31)?
