Link text in text box to a cell

I'm thinking this may require Vba to solve (if so pls advise and I will repost in correct forum)

I am using text boxes for users to write notes. I need the text from the text box to link to a cell. That cell is then copied into a Db within excel each day to save the text. I understand how to go from a cell to a text box but can't get it to go text box to cell.....

***if as I state above it is only solveable with vba and it is a quick fix (and not against "the rules" to post the reply here) please let me know. But keep in mind my Vba skill is rather limited (I can record and do basic editing to macro's, etc) so please make the coding reasonably clear for an amateur.
