    Question Contingency Monitoring

    Hi All,
    I have an Excel spreadsheet with a contingency number in column C and a total in H103. What I would like to do is have the number (count) of contingency entries in C be divided by H103.
    I tried H103/count(C)

    Are the values in column C actual numbers, or text that looks like numbers? You can try using COUNTA instead of COUNT if the items in column C aren't actually numbers:

    If that takes care of your need, please mark this thread as solved.
    New quick method:
    Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

    Or you can use this way:
    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
