Macro to delete Last character

Hello,

I have 1 Column with over 500 ID Names in it.
I want to delete the last letter or number from each row in that Column.

EX:
Have ------ Outcome

Jane ----- Jan
Teddy ----- Tedd
Jackson ----- Jackso
Marus14 ----- Marus1
